Aside from adding transaction(s) directly into JuanTax, you also have the option of importing bulk transactions into the Transactions Module. All you need to do is to have a CSV file containing your transaction information.
Importing Transactions via CSV Spreadsheets
Start importing spreadsheets by clicking the Import Transaction(s) icon, and choose whether it's for Sales or Purchase purposes.
Once you are prompted to the Import CSV transactions modal, you need to click the download links in order to obtain a copy of the file.
There are three files available:
a. CSV file - This is the actual CSV template file containing fields such as Date, Category, Amount, Contact TIN, Contact Name, First Name, Last Name, Middle Name, Description, Reference No., ATC, Address Line, City, Zip Code, COA Code and Branch Code.
Note: Fields such as Category and Invoice No. can only be found within the "Sales" version of the template.
b. Chart of Accounts - this sheet contains all the possible reference codes that are needed within the COA Code field of your CSV template.
c. ATC - Much like the COA codes list, this sheet also contains all the possible Alphanumeric Tax Codes that you could use within your transactions.
Note: Downloadable ATC Codes are only available for "Sales" transaction purposes.
Once you had completed the CSV file, you may now proceed on importing it to the Transactions Module by clicking the Browse button.
Locate for your CSV file and click Open.
After that, you need to click Next button.
Map the fields of your CSV file with the appropriate transaction fields.
Make sure to review the mapped transactions before continuing, and once finished, click DONE.
