# How to Delete or Cancel a Subscription



Only the **owner** (_subscriber_) of the organization can delete an organization.

* * *

**STEP 1:** On your portal, click the **more** button of the subscription you wish to downgrade and select **Delete Organization**.

**STEP 2**: A pop-up window will appear. Make sure to:

1.  Read the terms and conditions carefully.
    
2.  Enter your contact information.
    
3.  Choose one or more reasons for downgrading.
    
4.  Check the box next to **I ACCEPT**.
    
5.  Click the **Delete Organization** button.

**That's it!** Your organization's status will now switch to **Pending Deletion**.
