Tuesday, March 7, 2017 — Hong Kong — The First leg of the 2017 Xero Asian Roadshow happened at the Four Seasons Hotel. The event was a great success as various accountants, bookkeepers and Xero partners were present at the roadshow.
The Impact of Change
In a keynote presented by Alex Campbell, Managing Director of Xero for Asia. He discussed about Xero’s impact to small businesses in Asian countries, as well as how several industries had started to embrace the digital shift, and developed new applications that can be integrated with Xero.
One of its best example is the upcoming tax software for the Philippines called JuanTax, that was mentioned during the roadshow.
JuanTax Mentioned at the Roadshow
Alex Campbell mentioned some apps in Asia that can be integrated with Xero accounting software, including Online Pajak (Indonesia) as well as Smart Tax (Malaysia).
Another app mentioned at the roadshow was JuanTax, an upcoming Philippine-based tax software designed to help Xero customers in the Philippines when it comes to preparing and filing taxes. It can be connected with Xero for efficient generating of financial reports, as well as seamless filing of VAT, percentage tax and withholding tax.
