# How can I change the default recipient?

Set a default email address for who will be notified for returns filed in JuanTax and receive Tax Return Confirmations from the BIR.

Assigning a default recipient email in JuanTax is very easy!

**STEP 1**: On the sidebar menu, click **Settings**.

**STEP 2**: Look for **Email Settings**.

**STEP 3**: Choose the radio button of the email address that you want to act as the recipient for files such as MAP/DAT file and that’s it!

**_Note_:** You can only choose your recipient address once he/she had accepted the invite that will be sent via email.
