Your data is securely stored and can be retrieved in two ways: (1) Submit a request through our data request form — our team will respond within 5-7 business days. (2) Email us directly at [email protected].

Data request will be in a form of a .zip file that contains the following data: all filed BIR forms, DAT and CSV files, confirmation receipts, and BIR Books of Accounts.

JuanTax is no longer a standalone product. It is now the tax compliance module built into Juan Accounting. If you look for the Mailbox feature, you will see BIR Filings — built-in tax compliance feature in Juan Accounting.

Yes. The initial release includes 1601-C and 1604-C. Other withholding forms (1601-EQ, 1601-FQ, 0619-E) are not yet supported but are on the roadmap. Attachments for payroll BIR forms are not supported at this time.

Yes. Per our BIR accreditation, we are required to retain your files for five years. After that period, data may be permanently deleted. You will be notified before any deletion occurs.

Q13. Does BIR have access to my data?

No, it is only the owner-admin account of organizations who can retrieve the data from us.

Q14. How does tax compliance work inside Juan Accounting?

Juan Accounting connects your bookkeeping directly to your tax filings. Here's how it works:

  • transactions you record (whether entered manually, imported via CSV, or synced from your bank) are automatically categorized and mapped to the relevant BIR form fields

  • When a filing period opens, your forms — such as 2550M for VAT or 1701Q for income tax — are pre-filled and ready to review.

  • You then generate, file, and e-pay directly to BIR inside Juan Accounting
