The Tax Type determines the Type of Tax that will be applied to your transaction.

The Tax Type affects the calculation and population of your VAT returns and is only available if your organization in Plus is set up as a VAT filer.

Vat on Sales (Goods)

Value Added Tax when you sell goods that are liable for VAT

Sales of goods to the government or any of its political subdivisions, instrumentalities, or agencies including government-owned or controlled corporations

The seller does not impose VAT in the Philippines to the buyer who is within the Philippines or abroad.

Tax-Exempt Sales (Goods)

Forms of services that are not taxable due to the provisions made by the BIR
