Who Needs to File?

BIR Form 2000-OT should be filed by the person making, signing, issuing, accepting, or transferring the following transaction types

Every Natural or Juridical Person, Resident or Non-Resident for:

  • Sale, barter, exchange, or other onerous disposition of shares of stock in domestic corporations classified as an asset, not traded in the local stock exchange

Every withholding agent/buyer/seller on:

  • Sales, transfers, and exchanges of real property that are classified as assets. The “sale” includes pacto de retro sale and other forms of conditional sale.

Every withholding agent/buyer/seller on:

  • Sales, transfer, or exchange of real property classified as an ordinary asset

When to File?

This form should be filed and paid within five (5) days after the close of the month when the taxable documents were made, signed, issued, accepted, or transferred.

How to File?

To file a BIR Form 2000-OT in Fast File, follow the steps below:

STEP 1: From your portal, click on the Start Return button.

STEP 2: Select General Forms and hit Next.

STEP 3: Choose 2000-OT, then click the Next button.

STEP 4: Select the date of the transaction covered in this report. Choose from the Year and Month drop-down buttons, then click Next.

STEP 5: In the Filing Period Section, choose the appropriate Alphanumeric Tax Code (ATC).

STEP 6: In the second section of the form, enter all background information properly based on your BIR Certificate of Registration (COR/Form 2303).

Certain parts of the form are already pre-populated based on the information that you have provided during the Organization setup.

Don't forget to determine the Other Party to the transaction (items 1-13). Enter their Name, TIN, and choose the Nature of Transaction. Lastly, input the Location of the Real Property.

Please take note that your tax forms will be sent electronically to the BIR until 9 pm. Any forms that will be sent beyond that filing deadline will be transmitted within the next business day.
