JuanTax is an accredited Operator of a Payment System (OPS) by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). The process for the tax payments made through our platform uses the UnionBank payment facility. Therefore, we only transfer the data gathered from our users to UnionBank.
For those who observed that their transactions were posted to RDO 043, JuanTax requested clarification from UnionBank. And thus, this was the statement from Mr. Rico J. Robles, the Relationship Manager—Retail Banking Center for UnionBank.
"With regard to your inquiry on the standard process flow imposed by BIR, all ePay transactions will be posted to RDO 043 and their national treasury will be the one to coordinate the posting to their respective RDO's. This process is still updated as per BIR."
