Lock Dates

You can set a lock date in JuanTax to prevent changes being made to transactions prior to and inclusive of the set date.

Overview:

  • After you set a lock date, users won't be able to modify (add or delete) transactions in JuanTax if the transaction date is earlier than the lock date.

  • You can set lock dates for all user roles, or all user roles except the Subscriber (Owner) user role.

  • You'll need the Subscriber (Owner) user role to set and change lock dates.

To set up a lock date:

STEP 1: In your organization's sidebar menu, select Settings > General Settings.

STEP 2: Click Lock Date Period, set the date to lock transactions in.

To Remove a lock date:

STEP 1: In your organization's sidebar menu, select Settings > General Settings.

STEP 2: Click Lock Date Period.

STEP 3: Under Select Date, delete the date in the field, and you're good to go!
