Transactions Module: An Overview

A quick guide on the Transactions Module section of JuanTax.

The Transactions Module serves as the point of entry for all your created (sales, purchase, journal) transactions, which will also be pushed into the reports that you'll generate in JuanTax, such as VAT, Percentage, EWT, and FWT.

To access this section, all you have to do is go to the menu sidebar and proceed to Transactions.

ALL - this tab houses all the transactions manually entered in JuanTax and the ones synced from Xero with no errors and the ones corrected.

SALES - manually entered Sales Invoices in JuanTax that needs no correction. 

PURCHASES - manually entered Purchases or Bills in JuanTax and the ones synced from Xero that needs no correction. 

JOURNAL - in this tab are either automatic, manual, or imported journals you've entered in JuanTax

INCOMPLETE - transactions that need to be corrected or edited are routed to this tab

How to Enter Transactions?

There are many ways to start adding up transactions in this section of JuanTax. It's either via:

a. Adding Transactions Directly in JuanTax
b. Importing CSV Transactions
c. Capturing Transactions using Smartphone

Categorize Transactions

Aside from creating transactions, you can also filter your transactions by Date, Status, and Report. Filtering transactions allows you to choose which details you'd like to see in your transactions table. 

The filter settings include the following:

  1. Range - You may choose between Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual

  2. Month - The month wherein the transaction took place

  3. Year - You can choose from options 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020

  4. Payment Status - Whether the transaction is Paid or Unpaid

Note: Once you're done choosing, don't forget to click the filter button to apply your selected filter.

Additional functionalities are:

  1. Delete Transaction(s) - You may delete a transaction you imported by mistake or a transaction you no longer require in JuanTax.

  2. Export Transaction(s) - Allows you to export your Sales or Purchase Transactions saved from your organization.

  3. Search Report - This allows you to locate an existing report you created in your organization. Just type in the appropriate keyword to proceed with searching.

  4. Page Display - This gives you the option to choose how many pages you'd like to get displayed in your transactions table. Choose between 10, 25, 50, or 100 transactions per page to display.

How to correct Transaction(s)

To correct the transaction(s) in the incomplete tab, click on the transaction to show its full details.

Note: With the update on the integrations feature, JuanTax has set additional requirements in his the transactions should be entered in Xero for proper pulling
